So it's my first blog.
I think what finally kicked me up the butt to start writing was the hideous flu that's caused me to be bed ridden and signed off work for a week. There only so many episodes of 'This Morning' you can watch before going slightly insane. And after reading magazine after magazine i'm itching to talk to somebody about all the new amazing, life changing beauty products i'm discovering and finding out about!
One thing i can't get off my mind at the moment is M.A.C's next launch of 'Cham-pale'. Launching in the UK in January. If any of you are familiar with their last January collection 'Warm & Cosy' and fell in love with it as much as i did, then believe me now...this is going to have you bankrupt.
It contains two special reserve highlight powders that are like a summers sunset for your skin on a bleak january morning. A relaunch of the fabulous chromagraphic pencils in NC15/NW20 and NW25/NC30, that wake up any tired eyes, and 4 new frosted paint pot's that without a shadow of a doubt, are like running diamonds over eyes and cheeks.
The Cavier Dreams eyeshadow quad contains 4 colours that will cause the set to fly out the shops.
M.A.C always get their January collections bang on trend and give people exactly what they need from make-up in the dreary after math of christmas and the depths of a bleak winter. Beautiful, glow-giving products that feel like duvets for the skin and provide a real warmth and lift from every product involved.
Bring on January!
Few staple products i can't live without in times like this:
- Astral Cream (around £3.49 a tub?! and gives me silk like moisture that i smother on my face and body and leaves me skin feeling beautifully supple. Joanna Lumley swears by it!)
- Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - lips, eyes, nose, face...dry skin just gets banished!
- Glitter! Can never have enough, Tis the season to sparkle!
- M.A.C Eyeshadow in Sketch. It's party season, the season for smokey eyes! Give them a colour twist with Sketch Eyeshadow that's a beautiful deep plum colour, that works on any skin tone.
Over and out!
